Prof. Sally Wyke and Dr. Chris Bunn of Glasgow University presented on translating the successful Football Fans in Training (FFIT) programme from Scotland to other European countries through EuroFIT at a Global Active City Development meeting in Liverpool on 28 Oct 2015. Organised by Matthew Philpott of Healthy Stadia (HS) and Mike Salla of Everton in the Community (EITC), the programme included presentations on a range of health projects from HS and EITC. The meeting was in support of the Global Active Cities Development, for which Liverpool is a pilot Active City. Attendees included members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and EVALEO, a Swiss non-profit association whose goal is the development and active promotion of sustainable health for all.
